Sarah’s Hands began with two daughters, two different textures, and one mother determined to make wash day gentler.
I struggled to find products that were gentle, moisturizing, and truly supportive of my daughters’ hair—products that did not dry their hair out, contribute to breakage, or make wash day harder than it needed to be. So I started learning. I started researching. I went back to school and started formulating.
My daughters are the heart behind every formula. One has thick, beautiful coils, while the other has finer curls and a very sensitive scalp. Caring for both taught me that textured hair does not have one single need—but hydration, scalp comfort, and gentleness should always come first.
The foundation of Sarah’s Hands comes from Grandma Sarah. She cared for everyone through her hands, her presence, and her love. She taught me that care is something you give, not something you rush. Her name is on this brand because her spirit is in everything I do.
What began as a solution for my own children grew into something bigger: intentional care for every parent, child, and person who wants to feel more confident caring for textured hair.
